These are some pivotal documents from CASLE’s ”middle years” (roughly 1997 – 2003). In these years CASLE still had a board of several who were working hands-on. A bookkeeper was hired to handle many clerical tasks. CASLE’s reputation for problem-solving and collaborating continued to prove valuable. Significant and lasting changes were made, some provincially and some abroad, due to collaboration with others. CASLE broadened its work to impact the way new buildings were designed and built so they would have characteristics that could enable the buildings to remain Healthy Buildings for the long term. Improvements to the system for operating existing schools and also for safely renovating existing schools continued as major efforts in these years.
